The original logo used a very swooping Swing that closely resembled a “P” shape, and also illustrated one of the many pivots in golf. The gradient made the logo look rather dated, and the long, horizontal typography made the logo difficult to scale, particularly on products.
Green makes the logo more golf-friendly, and a cleaner, more rounded swing makes for a stronger logomark. A few motion lines add some texture and energy to the Swing. A stacked wordmark allows the logo to scale proportionately on products as well as mobile devices.
We developed business cards with alternating backs in white, green, and dark blue. The redefined Swing shape echoes in the background as seen on the athletic polos and other products for Pivotal Point.
A few golf-related products rounded out this project, with branded athletic polos that look a twist on the conventional logoed polo.
